Half done is well begun !

MY FIRST HALF MARATHON..!
Cannot express the joy of running the first HM, ...but in a little note of a new innocent kid on the block I must share this much....
DNF (did not finish) is better than DNS (did not start)
IAaF (I am a finisher) is better than DNF,
PB ( Personal best) is better than the IAaF,
And after doing all that...
Nothing compares to tapping the innocent tiny palms extended by the young and cute cheer leaders from the crowd...extending little little goodies with expression that looks like when the god smiles looking at the mirror !
did not miss out tapping any of them...!

A hundred runners in the mind !

*A hundred runners in the mind*

To the runner that makes a hundred finishes at every start line, having made his hundred friends finish their journey to that start line or makes a hundred starts at every finish line to enrol a hundred for their embarkment for a higher goal in fitness.

While on the run, pushing for a hundred who are on their fitness journey, or in the painful and frustrating recovery from injury or disability pursuing their individual races.

A hundred plans, a hundred workout stats, a hundred therapies, a hundred treatments, a hundred races and a hundred runners in the mind.

Don't be mistaken with this peaceful nap at his 100k finish somewhere in the Himalayas, has hundreds of runners buzzing around in the head. Helping each of them to run his or her own race he can't help himself ending up running along with each of them, almost.

Let it be the humble soft spoken elite fighting for every second to the wins or that 5 year old kid who is recovering from a disabled limb, or a spoiled brat who seeks redemption by getting back into the regular life, all look up eagerly to him for the little sweet nibbles or nudges from him as he exactly knows all of their individual progress and knows exactly the language to speak to each of them.

The hundred cells that are tapped to this perpetual battery of motivation, that is known in respect as "psycho"

Happy birthday Ashish sir, wish you a hundred into hundred into a hundred runs more !
